We really enjoy the Rolland pattern and see it as a beloved staple in the wardrobe. You can play with fabric combinations or sew it in a single color. However you like it, however it appeals to you.

Rolland will get along well with stretchy materials (we definitely recommend our wonderful bamboo knit). However, the wrap design also allows for less stretchy fabric.

"The effect of the wrap piece, which also interestingly graphically divides the front piece, is unobtrusive and will always look good and sophisticated. The piece is quite variable, it wraps around the entire body from the side to the back and then to the front again. You can leave its end hanging or wrap it multiple times. This part also offers an ideal space for your creative expression. On the figure, it becomes the centerpiece, and it's interesting to decorate it in some way, perhaps choose a striking material or, in the case of fabric, edge it with bias tape. Thicker knits, on the other hand, can be left for trimming only, lightening the product." - Barbora Procházková

Barbora Procházková, a graduate of AAAD in Prague in the Studio of Liběna Rochová, brought to life a beautiful project. As a fashion designer, she decided that a large part of her professional work would be dedicated to passing on know-how. In her patterns, which she first introduced as her diploma thesis and now creates under the brand Project Sapience, you'll find pure creative joy. Bára has received some nice awards for Project Sapience, and we believe she certainly deserves them. She encourages us to desire to create our own wardrobe and provides a path to original clothing creation from different perspectives than what is common in the Czech Republic today.
