Orientation in more complex sewing moments of this project will be simplified by the VIDEO tutorial. It's absolutely amazing if you know a little French. And if you don't, the video is very illustrative. We definitely recommend playing it as part of your preparation. Or when you have time to sew Maison Fauve pieces just in your head :).

A shirt with a great placket and a proper cuff. Skyline is a straight cut that has just the right amount of freedom and minimalism, and you can further tailor it to your nature. 'Claudine' type collar, placket, extended or shortened length. It looks great when made out of high-quality solid fabrics, and patterns will make it stand out even more. 

Required skills: INTERMEDIATE. Technical aspects to consider: buttonholes, collar and cuff assembly, button placket.

FABRIC SELECTION:

Follow your abilities and maybe start by sewing with poplin before you dive into viscose. Of course, consider the degree of flow that you like. More flowing viscose will look extremely good. Poplin, on the other hand, will be great in a different way. Play with different fabrics and see what suits you best.
