Ekko, Deep Charcoal | viscose EcoVero
Product detailed description
It drapes beautifully, feels pleasant on the skin, and thanks to its EcoVero certification, it's much more environmentally friendly than conventional viscose. This very light fabric is ideal for hot summer months.
How to sew with viscose fabric? Working with viscose isn't recommended for complete beginners. While there's no need to be overly afraid of it, you'll notice the liveliness of viscose even during cutting, and working with it requires a certain amount of patience and precision. What cotton fabric might forgive, viscose will not...
But what will viscose reward you with for your patience? You'll create something truly beautiful. Viscose drapes wonderfully. If you dare to make a blouse or shirt dress, it will be heavenly. Even a simple half-circle skirt will look fantastic.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Before laying out your pattern, it's recommended to prewash the fabric to allow for residual shrinkage (about 5%). Recommended washing temperature is 30°C, iron on a medium heat setting on the reverse side. The manufacturer suggests avoiding the use of a tumble dryer. Be cautious with detergents containing optical brighteners as they may have an undesirable effect on the fabric's colour.
