Tencel knit is the most luxurious fabric we can offer you in the "basic" knits category.

It features excellent drape and a silky softness to the touch. This significantly stretchy material (stretches in one direction) is ideal for dresses, blouses, and shirts, but it can also handle leggings if you want to feel especially exceptional and comfortable.

For the final finishing of the knit, mercerization was used, giving the fabric higher strength and tear resistance. It also gained higher absorbency. The yarn underwent a process called "gassing" beforehand, where the yarn passes through a flame to remove loose fiber ends.

HOW TO CARE FOR THE FABRIC:

This is a fairly luxurious fabric, so handle it with care. Don't worry if you follow these guidelines. Wash larger pieces of fabric (1.5 m and more) separately in the washing machine. Never overfill the machine with Tencel; always wash it in a half-full machine! Use lower spin speeds (max 900 rpm). It is recommended to wash in cold water (or a maximum of 30 degrees), iron on the reverse side at a low setting, and avoid using a dryer. For sewing, needles with a rounded tip marked "jersey" are suitable.
