Basics of Sewing | course for beginners in English

Our favorite course is perfect for beginners or those with little sewing machine experience.

We’ll start with the basics that every machine has, so you understand how they work. In the workshop, you'll try different machine models to learn their differences. By the end of this session, you’ll be able to use any sewing machine and handle common issues.

We’ll briefly cover fabrics, threads, presser feet, needles, and pins and you’ll practice on a test fabric.

In the second part, we’ll sew a simple project (usually a small drawstring bag). You’ll apply what you’ve learned and see that sewing isn’t too hard, but it does take some effort! :)

FOR WHOM: The course is suitable for participants aged 15 and older. 

WHERE: Our workshop is located at Havanská 10, Prague 7 - Letná.

MAX CAPACITY: 4 people.

NOTE: You will also need to purchase or bring your own fabrics. More information will be provided in due time.
